Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lighting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, landscaping experience, and an eagerness to learn.
This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage lighting systems in various outdoor settings. The Lighting Technician will also ensure landscapes are beautifully illuminated, safety and aesthetics are enhanced, and project timelines are met.
Duties
- Install and maintain outdoor lighting systems, including landscape and hardscape lighting.
- Perform regular inspections of lighting installations to ensure functionality and safety.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and excavators for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct tree trimming and care as necessary to ensure optimal light exposure.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as required.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction or landscaping preferred.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and excavators.
- Experience in gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
