Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with small business clients, referral partners, and community organizations to generate new SBA loan opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end SBA loan process, from origination through closing, ensuring compliance with all SBA requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting, credit, and operations teams to ensure smooth loan processing and exceptional client service.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified borrowers by leveraging networking, prospecting, and business development strategies.
  • Stay informed on SBA programs, updates, and regulatory changes to better serve clients and optimize deal structures.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in SBA lending, preferably as a BDO, SBA Loan Officer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs and processes.
  • Established network of small business clients, brokers, or referral sources preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
