Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in community care, particularly in environments such as retirement homes or group homes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management, including expense tracking and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate medication administration and ensure proper training for staff on medication protocols.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster professional development.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and families to create comprehensive care plans for residents with developmental disabilities.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and industry standards related to home community care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of facility operations to identify areas for improvement.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a nursing or community care setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operations management in retirement homes or group homes is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong skills in budgeting and financial oversight are essential.
  • Background in social work or related fields will be considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a positive work environment.
