Job Title: Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst

Location: Remote Department: Revenue Cycle Management

Reports To: Manager, Revenue Cycle

Job Summary:

The Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting the revenue cycle operations for ECP. This position is responsible for monitoring financial performance, identifying trends, developing reports, and recommending improvements to increase efficiency and maximize revenue. The analyst collaborates across departments to ensure accuracy in billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze revenue cycle metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed financial and operational reports related to billing, collections, denials, accounts receivable (A/R), and payer reimbursement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for revenue cycle performance monitoring.
  • Support projects related to revenue cycle optimization, process improvement, and compliance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of claim denials, payment variances, and other revenue issues.
  • Work cross-functionally with billing, coding, compliance, IT, and clinical teams to improve workflow and revenue capture.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across revenue systems and reports.
  • Stay current on healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (required)

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, analytics, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, billing software, and data visualization tools

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, coding, payer reimbursement, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
