Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks vehicles.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
  • Must speak and write English.
  • Medical DOT card
  • Working cell-phone to receive calls, emails, and take pictures of freight.
  • Photo ID
  • Experience driving Box Trucks, Semis, etc
  • Responsive to phone calls, text, emails
  • Job is an OTR position
