It's exciting, rewarding, and hard work—and offers career and personal growth. As Director of Product Management – Cybersecurity, you will lead strategy and execution for our security-focused product portfolio, including Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Identity Security, and Recovery solutions. This role requires deep cybersecurity expertise, exceptional leadership, and the ability to translate market trends into innovative products that protect organizations against evolving threats. You will manage product lines, increase profitability of existing offerings, and develop new solutions based on market requirements. The role demands strong communication, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the cybersecurity product strategy, roadmap, and portfolio aligned with overall business objectives. Drive innovation in ITDR, Identity Security, and Recovery solutions to address emerging threats and compliance requirements. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify trends and opportunities in cybersecurity. Manage the entire product lifecycle—from strategic planning to tactical execution. Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, ensuring alignment and success across all security product lines. Collaborate with Product Marketing for effective product positioning, messaging, and launches. Partner with Sales, Support, and Services to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Run early adopter programs and MVP initiatives for new cybersecurity products. Evaluate partnerships and technology integrations to strengthen security offerings. Act as a thought leader within the company and represent Quest at industry events.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in cybersecurity product management, ideally with ITDR, XDR/EDR, Recovery solutions. Strong understanding of identity protection, threat detection, and data recovery technologies. Hands-on experience with the Pragmatic Marketing framework (required or strongly preferred). Must have experience managing and developing people (direct reports such as Product Managers). Experience managing products with large-scale deployments (>10,000 users). Ability to abstract complex technical concepts and influence decision-making at all levels. Skilled in writing technical user stories and use cases. Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum) and backlog management.
