Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
  • Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
  • Provide patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior
  • Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care
  • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation tasks
  • Follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals or social workers
  • Document all care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient support and safety

Skills

  • Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care; experience with patients with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
  • Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
  • Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions effectively
  • Compassionate communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to assist with ADLs, including heavy lifting when necessary using proper techniques or equipment like Hoyer lifts
  • Experience working with individuals with dementia or memory impairments is preferred
  • Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
  • Flexibility to adapt to different care environments and patient needs
  • Physical stamina for long shifts involving standing, walking, lifting, or assisting residents with mobility challenges

This position provides an opportunity for caregivers passionate about providing empathetic support while developing their skills within a rewarding healthcare environment.

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
