The Event Sales and Services Coordinator must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the team of Event Sales and Services and Banquet Managers.. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.

The Italian American Banquet Center of Livonia Event Sales and Services Office is an environment that demands exceptional performance.

Main Duties:

Assist Event Sales and Services Director as needed

Create banquet event order packets for FOH and BOH

Attend client and venue walk-throughs

Responsible for assisting with writing client contracts and banquet event orders

Attend and assist at client tastings

Create floor plans, timelines, diagrams

Manage email, posts, and generate followers on social media

Assist in maintaining and elevating our style

Qualifications

Must be highly organized

Self-starter can take initiative and work with minimal direction

Has 1-2 years front of house, events and fine dining service experience preferred

Works well under pressure and time constraints

Positive and can-do attitude

Work well with a team or independently

Handle constructive feedback and can also provide constructive feedback

Great time management skills

Thorough knowledge of Office and Google interfaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41, $47,840.00 per year
