Role Description

This Lead Technical Project Manager will be responsible for planning and producing execution-ready project plans for third-party clinical applications in support of the Epic Consolidation program. The role involves coordinating with application owners, vendors, and Epic teams to ensure alignment with program milestones and readiness across all phases.

Responsibilities:

• Develop planning packages per application (charter, schedule, RAID log, integration design, infrastructure/security readiness, etc.)
• Facilitate planning workshops and maintain action logs
• Deliver weekly status reports and executive summaries
• Manage dependencies across Epic, integration, infrastructure, and vendors
• Ensure all planning artifacts meet PM standards and are approved by stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience in healthcare environments, preferably within large health systems.
• Proven ability to lead planning efforts for third-party clinical applications, including coordination with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Project planning and execution aligned to enterprise milestones
• RAID log creation and management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Integration planning, including interface mapping and design intent documentation
• Data migration and decommission strategies
• Infrastructure and security readiness, including environment setup and compliance considerations
• Cutover and rollback planning, including operational readiness and support models
• Governance reporting, including executive summaries and dashboards
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops, document decisions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within or supporting a PMO structure, with knowledge of healthcare IT standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Excel for documentation and reporting.
