We are seeking a dependable andreliable Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger Assembler II to join our day shift Assembly team. This position requires not only mechanical skill but also an eye for quality. Must have relevant experience with cutting plate with a track burner/manual plasma cutter.

The ideal candidate has multiple years of hands-on experience assembling shell and tube heat exchangers, including tube bundle assembly and hydrotesting.

Responsibilities

  • Report on time, every day.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Read Blueprints
  • Follow quality, production and safety procedures
  • Assemble shell and tube heat exchanger components and parts.
  • Burn plate with track burner/manual plasma torch.
  • Perform tube expansion using equipment using manual tube expanders. Knowledge and experience in hydraulic expansion is a plus.
  • Use hand tools and power tools.
  • Properly prep and hydrotest units to ensure product integrity.
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly procedures.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Learn the routine of procedures and be able to execute without constant supervision.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of showing up on time and maintaining excellent attendance.
  • Some experience in assembling shell and tube heat exchangers.
  • Relevant Experience with track burning plate/plasma torch (manual process).
  • Knowledge of torqueing procedures and precision assembly.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and repetitive motion.
  • MIG tack welding experience
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety standards.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Shop-based role with exposure to industrial equipment, water and materials.
  • Unairconditioned and unheated shop floor.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs consistently.
  • Requires standing, stooping, bending, and repetitive motions for extended periods.

  • Highly reliable and punctual, with an unbroken record of attendance and dependability.
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious.
  • Strong work ethic; trustworthy.
  • Able to follow established procedures and workflows without deviation.
  • Ideally holds forklift and overhead-crane certifications (or is willing to obtain).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening.
  • Safety-Sensitive Role: Operates vehicles, equipment, machinery, and power tools where improper use could endanger self or others (63 OK Stat § 427.8(H)(2)(c); § 427.8(K)(1)(b)).

Reports To: Assembly Foreman

Base Schedule: M-F 6:00AM - 2:30PM with Overtime as needed
