Description
The Conrad Company, a fast growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is seeking an onsite Sales Coordinator to join the GreasePoint York team. GreasePoint helps people in Manufacturing and Construction with lubrication and fire suppression systems. The GreasePoint team is committed to offering technical excellence, superior customer service, and world-class solutions. The Sales Coordinator position will play a critical role supporting the GreasePoint customer base, the outside sales team, and the field service team. We are seeking an individual passionate about providing an excellent customer experience by demonstrating strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly and effectively respond to customer needs, acting as the primary interface between customers, salespeople, suppliers, and internal staff
  • Obtain all pertinent information regarding the job/application, and communicate with suppliers to gather price, lead time, and any required technical data
  • Manage customer orders within the ERP system
  • Ensure customer and supplier requirements are appropriately captured during order entry
  • Set up new part numbers, bills of material, production orders, etc.
  • Correspond with customers and suppliers to address any after-shipment issues that may occur, such as damaged/lost material, pricing discrepancies, or return requests
  • Provide customers with accurate delivery information regarding open or past due orders
  • Efficiently manage large amounts of communication between email, phone, and customer/ supplier portals to maintain detailed records of interactions
  • Position will be cross trained with the GreasePoint Service Coordinator to ensure backup coverage as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service experience in an industrial service setting
  • Strong ability to communicate with different audiences (customers, sales professionals, field technicians)
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Experience working with an ERP system; Acumatica experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Works well in a team setting
