Social Worker

Summary: We are seeking a Social Worker(s) to provide social work services to students of Capital Region schools

Job Title: Social Worker

Location: Albany, NY 12205

Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30AM- 3:25PM (School hours vary by location)

Target Duration/End Date: June 2026

Description of Roles and Responsibilities:

· Maywood Academy

· Airline Academy

· Heatly (Green Island)

· Pine Bush Elementary (Guilderland)

· Westmere Elementary (Guilderland)

· Farnsworth Middle School (Guilderland)

· Guilderland High School (Guilderland)

· Mohonasen High School (Mohonasen)

· Niskayuna High School (Niskayuna)

· Career Tech Albany

· Career Tech Albany Extension

· Career Tech Schoharie

· Each daily schedule includes a thirty-minute unpaid lunch

· No services will be required on legal holidays, school recesses, and snowy days

· Overtime is not required

· Work is 100% on-site. There is no option for teleworking

Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:

Licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) AND have one year of post NYS licensure professional social work experience

Or, licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Candidate's resume, a copy of the professional license, and reference list is required

Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:

· Candidates must possess strong clinical experience with youth and families

· Ability to communicate in American Sign Language is a plus

· Candidate must be child-centered, and trauma informed

· Candidates must have the ability to be empathic to students

· Candidates must exhibit flexibility and understanding of students with diverse backgrounds and trauma driving behavior
