A strong sales background, and experience within data collection/sample for market research is essential, with an understanding of running feasibility, incidence rates, sampling, etc. fundamental to the role.  The role will also offer the opportunity to expand into different types of research utilized by Savanta.

About the Role:

This position sits within the Americas Client Development team, with a focus on our Agencies Business, working with clients such as Creative Agencies, Marketing Agencies and Media Agencies, amongst others.

The work with agencies clients involves projects spanning across multiple methodologies and service levels, leveraging the full suite of Savanta products and capabilities.

This role is based in our NYC office, with the expectation to be in the office 2-3 days a week and up to 25% travel time around North America.

What You'll Do:

  • Play a pivotal role in delivering Savanta's Agencies business strategy, working closely with the VP and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead proactive plans to identify new opportunities, markets, and revenue streams—targeting double-digit year-on-year growth.
  • Build and nurture high-value client relationships, manage multi-market activities, and deliver outstanding pitches to senior audiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Delivery teams to create compelling campaigns and events.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation and service excellence.
  • Drive adoption of tech-enabled solutions and consultative, data-driven selling.

About You:

You have a strong working competency and a point of view about different research and insight techniques. You are able to work quickly, require limited supervision from senior colleagues, and increasingly demonstrate an ability to see the bigger picture.

The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate:

  • Proven sales track record of Data collection/Sample success in B2B or business development within the marketing research, or market intelligence industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing research methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving commercial growth.
  • Visionary, solution-oriented approach and respected by senior leadership.
  • Tech-first mindset, ready to help pivot Savanta into a cutting-edge insights business.
  • Excellent consultative communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about mentoring, team development, and building long-term client partnerships.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and do what's needed to succeed.
