We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Community-Based Behavioral Health Therapist who is dedicated to culturally responsive, relationship-driven care. This role is ideal for someone who values hands-on, in-person work and is passionate about supporting youth and families through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

This is not a remote position. Services are delivered face-to-face in the community, with consistent presence required in Rio Arriba and Santa Fe.

About The Role
You'll provide
Multisystemic Therapy (MST)
- You will provide
Multisystemic Therapy (MST)
a highly effective, evidence-based treatment model for at-risk youth 12-17 and their families. MST focuses on strengthening family systems, improving communication, addressing behavioral challenges, and building lasting support networks that promote long-term stability and success.

Therapists meet families where they are emotionally, culturally, and geographically to foster accountability, resilience and sustainable change.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide face-to-face therapy in clients' homes and community settings
  • Work with youth experiencing behavioral, emotional, or legal challenges
  • Coordinate services with families, schools, probation, and community agencies
  • Participate in court proceedings when required
  • Maintain a small, intensive caseload (3-5 months per family)
  • Provide evening and occasional weekend services as needed
  • Participate in rotating on-call crisis coverage
  • Attend weekly supervision and required trainings in Santa Fe
  • Complete documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • License preferred but not required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with youth and families
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Cultural humility and commitment to community-centered care
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Rio Arriba County
  • Willingness to attend court and community meetings as required
