As we expand, we're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, and proactive Purchasing & Inventory Manager to oversee both our procurement process and our inventory control operations.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role combining the responsibilities of both a Purchasing Manager and an Inventory Manager. You'll ensure we have the right materials, in the right quantities, at the right time, while managing vendor relationships, negotiating cost savings, and keeping our stock accurate and organized.

This role is ideal for someone who understands construction supply flow, vendor management, and systems-based purchasing, but wants to work in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where they can have a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing for all materials, tools, and consumables across business lines
  • Negotiate vendor pricing, rebates, and service agreements
  • Maintain accurate pricing and item data in the ERP
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving and distribution processes and teams.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory counts
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement stock control procedures
  • Develop and enforce PO, approval, and receiving workflows
  • Collaborate with Accounting for three-way match and AP accuracy
  • Prepare spend analysis, variance reports, and rebate summaries for leadership
  • Manage the team of buyers and warehouse coordinators, and drive process standardization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain roles (construction/home services industry preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Hands on knowledge of Katana or similar inventory tracking system
  • Strong vendor relationship management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable in both office and warehouse environments.
