Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in both nightclub and banquet settings. Prior experience in fine dining, food safety, and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. The position offers flexible hours, primarily during evenings and weekends, perfect for individuals looking to enhance their hospitality skills while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for different events or shifts
  • Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling and beverage service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Experience working in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or catering settings is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
  • Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age as per state regulations)
