Back in Motion Physical Therapy & Performance is growing fast, and we're looking for a certified, degree-backed Personal Trainer to join our team and help adults 50+, athletes, and active individuals get stronger, move better, and live pain-free.

This isn't your typical "big box gym" environment — no bro workouts, no cookie-cutter programs, no chaos.

This is a professional, supportive, and cutting-edge training environment where clients expect the highest level of coaching, education, and results.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Personal Trainer who is:

  • Highly knowledgeable in exercise science, biomechanics, and strength training
  • Passionate about coaching and helping clients get stronger, healthier, and more confident
  • Energetic, personable, and able to build strong relationships with clients
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality sessions
  • Eager to learn, grow, and be part of a team that blends medical expertise with performance training

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
  • CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) or NASM Personal Training Certification
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Personal Trainer at Back in Motion, you will:

  • Coach personal training and small-group training sessions with adults 40+ and athletes
  • Create individualized, evidence-based programs tailored to each client's needs and goals
  • Conduct fitness assessments and track progress
  • Coach proper form, movement mechanics, and safe training habits
  • Provide guidance on mobility, injury prevention, and recovery
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and staff
  • Help build a positive, energetic, team-oriented training culture
  • Support basic fitness sales and client follow-up (no cold sales or aggressive quotas)

You will NOT be asked to micromanage staff, run the business, or take on director-level responsibilities — just train, inspire, and deliver world-class client experiences.

You'll Stand Out If You Have

  • Experience training adults 50+
  • Experience coaching athletes
  • Background in strength & conditioning, corrective exercise, or sports performance
  • Additional specialty certifications (TRX, kettlebells, mobility, etc.)
  • A record of retaining clients and producing measurable results
  • A former athletic background (college, competitive, etc.)
