Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding and assisting HR Manager with various other responsibilities.
This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in HR software systems to effectively support our workforce and contribute to our organizational goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle to include interviewing, hiring, and facilitating employee onboarding.
- Maintains and updates our HRIS, including employee records, performance evaluations, and training certificates.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex situations to HR Manager.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately electronically.
- Coordinates monthly benefit enrollments for new hires.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects, in a dead-line driven environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience in human resources or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience using Paylocity highly desired
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources preferred.
- Previous recruiting experience
