Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator to join our Northwest Las Vegas office. This is a front desk position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help patients. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments in person and over the phone
  • Answer and route incoming calls efficiently while providing accurate information
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment questions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and in-office procedures
  • Support day-to-day office operations and assist clinical staff as needed
  • Ensure each patient has a smooth and positive experience from check-in to check-out

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
  • Able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Dependable and able to work a consistent full-time schedule

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience working in a medical, dental, or optical office
  • Familiarity with EHR or patient scheduling systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturdays (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
  • Closed on major holidays

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2+ years (Preferred)
  • Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1+year (Preferred)
  • Sales: 1+ year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
