Job Overview

The Refurb Company USA is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Assistant to support our vinyl production team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who wants to work with their hands, learn technical production skills, and grow with a fast-paced and innovative company.

You'll work directly with our Large Format Print Production Specialist to produce high-quality, proprietary vinyl components used in the IT refurbishment industry. From operating machines to helping with hands-on fitment testing and assisting our design team—this is a great starting point to learn the trade.

Duties

  • Operate and support vinyl cutting machines, large format printers, laminators, and related machines
  • Regularly lift, move, and load heavy vinyl rolls and substrates (50+ lbs.)
  • Assist with test fitting vinyl kits on laptops and devices to ensure proper fit and alignment
  • Help test, weed, trim, label, and organize kits for customer orders
  • Shadow and support experienced operators to learn application techniques and vinyl handling best practices
  • Assist our design team with layout verification, prototyping, and design testing
  • Maintain a clean and efficient production workspace

Skills

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly (vinyl rolls, machines, boxes)
  • Positive attitude and interest in working with your hands or machines
  • Willingness to follow instructions, take feedback, and work as part of a team
  • Bonus: Any experience with operating machinery, cutters, RIP software, large format printing, or digital design
