Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist (XR Tech) to join our high-performing clinical team on a per diem / 1099 contractor basis. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced outpatient environment focused on patient care excellence. This position will involve primarily weekend work with occassional weekdays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality X-rays and operate C-arm fluoroscopy for image-guided spine, joint, and vascular procedures . Experience with GE-9900 is a plus.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure proper documentation in the EMR (Athena)
  • Prepare procedure room and equipment; maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Assist patients with transfer between holding area, procedure room, and recovery area.
  • Comply with all radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols
  • Support general clinical operations and provide occasional administrative or patient support when needed

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois Radiologic Technologist License (IEMA) required
  • ARRT certification preferred
  • Experience with C-arm fluoroscopy and outpatient pain management and endovascular procedures strongly preferred
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a small, dynamic team

Compensation

Competitive pay of $40–$45 per hour (based on experience)

Per diem / 1099 contractor position — flexible hours and great opportunity to work with a leading-edge practice
