Iris Telehealth is seeking a psychiatrist to help steer our outpatient clinic to new heights This part-time, remote role offers the perfect blend of clinical care and administrative leadership, allowing you to engage both with patients and a dedicated team—all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

About the Role:
As a psychiatrist Medical Director, you'll split your time between clinical and leadership duties, working 40 hours per week. This role would expect to spend :16 hours a week providing direct care to a small patient panel and :24 hours per week leading with administrative excellence.

As a
Medical Director
, you will:

  • Provide general oversight of the psychiatric care provided at all three sites.
  • Provide clinical supervision as prescribing authority for up to 5 PMHNPs and 2 FNPs.
  • Conduct case consultations with all providers to staff challenging cases, as needed.
  • Lead weekly treatment team meeting, participate in monthly staff meetings, and serve as medical director in other meetings.
  • Potentially help develop and implement policies and procedures, as needed.

Additional Position Highlights

  • Setting: 100% Remote | Arizona-based outpatient community mental health clinic
  • Schedule: 40 hrs/wk , flexible during Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm AST. Open to 4x10's
  • Patient Population: All ages (6-65), primarily adults with moderate acuity to high acuity.
  • Appointment Times : 50 minutes for initial visits, 25 minutes for follow-ups.
  • No On-Call Required Enjoy work-life balance with a schedule that fits your needs.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry. Active Arizona license required.
  • Availability for 40 hours per week, with the ability to work during AST hours.
  • Experience and willingness to treat ages 6-65 and manage moderate-to-high acuity cases.
  • Telehealth experience, with knowledge of Credible as a plus.
  • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
