Location: San Francisco, CA

Schedule: Part-time; weekend and holiday availability required

The Warwick San Francisco is a historic boutique hotel located steps from Union Square, known for its European charm, personalized service, and intimate dining experience. Our restaurant and bar offer a welcoming atmosphere where quality, creativity, and hospitality come together.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has prior kitchen experience, works well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. This position requires teamwork, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Assist with prep work, plating, and inventory as needed.
  • Work efficiently and collaboratively during service.
  • Support the Chef and team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, and moving quickly in a busy kitchen).
  • Comfortable working in hot or humid conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Required Certifications (City & State):

  • California Food Handler Card (required before starting).
  • ServSafe Certification (preferred, not required).
