The Server will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service and knowledgeable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine/ beverage pairings to assist guests effectively
  • Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending, food service or restaurant roles; fine dining experience a must.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Square and Toast
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset committed to hospitality excellence
