Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and kid-focused Field Trip Instructor to lead engaging STEM-based field trips and workshops for K–8 students. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teaching, loves hands-on learning, and thrives in fun, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate on-site and off-site field trip experiences, including LEGO engineering, robotics, maker challenges, and STEM workshops.
  • Manage class groups (typically 10–25 students) and deliver high-quality, energetic instruction.
  • Set up, operate, and pack down all materials and equipment before and after field trips.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all participants.
  • Adapt instruction to meet age level, group size, and program goals.
  • Represent BrickEd & More with professionalism when interacting with schools, educators, and parents.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children (teaching, camps, youth programs) with a preference in classroom experience.
  • Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport bins of materials (typically up to 20 lbs).
  • Reliable transportation to travel to program site(s).
  • Comfort with technology, robotics, or hands-on STEM activities (extensive training provided).
  • Creativity, positive energy, and passion for learning.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
