As a Armed Security Officer - Downtown Finanicial Building in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related concerns. If you hold a Level III Armed Certification or an Armed Guard License, this post may require armed duties as part of your daily role. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies for a financial institution location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying credentials and assisting visitors, employees, and/or vendors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site policy.
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors to help to deter disruptive or unauthorized behavior within the lobby area.
• Support the security-related needs of the location by remaining alert and ready to assist with various situations as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
