We are looking for a dedicated Food Prep Server to join our team and help support the preparation and service of meals. This position is perfect for someone looking to work alongside a skilled culinary team and make a positive impact on the campus community.

Job Overview:

As a Food Prep Server, you will play an essential role in preparing and serving meals to our students, faculty, and staff. You will work closely with our Chef and Supervisor, assisting in food preparation, assembling meal orders, and ensuring the efficient operation of our kitchen. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
  • Assemble and package meal orders for service.
  • Serve meals to students, faculty, and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized food prep area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food storage practices.
  • Work alongside the Chef and Supervisor to meet the daily meal requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down food service areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required – willingness to learn is a must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

Work Environment:

  • Work will be performed in a kitchen environment.
  • Regular interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Monday-Friday schedule from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $14.00 per hour
