Position Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Independent Contractor

Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Independent Contractor BCBA . The BCBA will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) services including assessments, treatment planning, supervision, and parent training on an as-needed basis. This position is project-based and does not constitute employment with Aspire to Zenithal (A2Z) Therapy.

Scope of Work:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), including 97151 evaluations as

authorized

• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans

• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to RBTs and behavior technicians, as applicable

• Provide caregiver training and conduct team meetings as clinically appropriate

• Collect and analyze data, monitor progress, and modify treatment based on data

• Maintain timely documentation of services in accordance with Medicaid or insurance

payer requirements

• Ensure all work complies with BACB guidelines and applicable state/federal regulations

Contractor Requirements:

• Board Certification (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification

Board (BACB)

• Hold a valid license to practice behavior analysis in North Carolina (or willing to obtain)

o Licensure is reimbursable if certain requirements are met

• Maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per

occurrence

• Provide own transportation, laptop/tablet, and necessary assessment materials

• Maintain HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping and secure data storage

• Responsible for their own taxes and benefits (not eligible for unemployment or company

benefits)

• Must meet 5% supervision of all accepted clients according to BACB standards

Aspire to Zenithal (A2Z) Therapy

Schedule & Autonomy:

• Contractor sets their own schedule and hours, subject to client availability

• Contractor is not required to attend staff meetings unless otherwise agreed; but must meet

once monthly with clinical director for case review

• Contractor operates independently and is responsible for how services are delivered

• A2Z may assign clients or tasks, but contractor may accept or decline cases

Compensation:

• Compensation is based on agreed hourly rate:

o Billable (Assessments, Parent Trainings, Supervisions): $65/hour

o Non-Billable (not to exceed 20% of billable and must be justifiable): $40/hour

• Payment is issued on a bi-monthly basis upon submission of invoice and approved

session notes

Term and Termination:

• Either party may terminate this agreement for cause, including breach of confidentiality, ethics violations, or non-performance.
