Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage with customers and promote our products will be key to enhancing their shopping experience.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
  • Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
  • Familiarity with retail math for accurate transaction processing.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor team members as needed.
