The candidate would study the current BMS design architecture and provide monitoring and maintenance of the system. The Controls Technician would work with mechanical and electrical personnel to ensure the safe and reliable operation of HVAC and other systems. They will also work towards improving BMS efficiency towards the enhanced sustainability quotient and reduce financial impact of operations. They would also act as SME for HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management systems.What your day-to-day will look like:• Lead BMS operations by monitoring and optimizing building automation systems across multiple facilities, ensuring peak performance of HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy management systems• Drive system improvements through data analysis and performance monitoring, implementing energy efficiency strategies that deliver measurable cost reductions and sustainability enhancements• Provide technical expertise on BMS architecture, configuration, programming, and commissioning while serving as the subject matter expert for complex automation challenges• Manage system maintenance by troubleshooting issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensuring minimal downtime through proactive maintenance strategies• Oversee system upgrades and compliance by planning expansions and integrations, maintaining documentation, training staff, and ensuring adherence to building codes and safety standards• Collaborate on asset-related projects by supporting facility infrastructure improvements, asset lifecycle management initiatives, and capital project implementations that enhance building performance and operational efficiency Required Qualifications and Skills:3+ years of experience in building automation systems managementStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, and energy management principlesProficiency in BMS software platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls)Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Instrumentation EngineeringExperience with data analytics and visualization toolsKnowledge of IoT and smart building technologiesProject management experienceRelevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CEM) preferredLocation: On siteShift: Monday to Friday- Day shift. Maintain and respond to the on-call phone for after-hours emergencies and client inquiries.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
