Position Summary:

We are seeking an IV-certified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in intravenous therapy to join our clinical team. This role primarily involves preparing IV medications, reconstituting biologics, and initiating peripheral IV lines for our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and reconstitute biologic medications following manufacturer instructions.
  • Initiate and maintain peripheral intravenous lines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with RNs, physicians, and clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering infusion supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State LPN license (active and unrestricted).
  • IV therapy certification with documented training.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with IV insertion and medication preparation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced infusion center environment.
