Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, incorporating evidence-based practices in applied behavior analysis.
  • Implement behavioral interventions and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.

Skills

  • Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and strategies for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong experience in data collection methods and the ability to analyze data for treatment effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and patient care protocols.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments that inform treatment planning and intervention strategies.
