Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some prior dental assisting experience, but we are open to training the right individual who is eager to learn and grow with us. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the dental field, gain valuable hands-on experience, and work their way up within the practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pediatric and orthodontic dentists during patient care and procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
  • Itero scanning, X-rays, and intraoral photos (training provided if needed)
  • Provide chairside support and comfort to young patients
  • Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Help with front desk tasks as needed (scheduling, patient check-in/out)
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous dental assisting experience required – we are willing to train further
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
  • Energetic, eager to learn, and able to take direction well
  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
  • X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus
