is seeking a skilled and experienced
Lead Mitigation Technician
. Lead Mitigations Technicians are energetic and detail-oriented individuals to help us restore clients' homes and lives. Restorations by Highmark provides high-quality restoration services for water, fire/smoke damage, mold, and biohazard. We are proud to be a locally owned business, building trust in our clients and community. Lead Mitigation Technicians lead and supervise work crews in varied restoration scenarios and experiences they are exposed to daily.

Pay:
$25 -$30 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise work crew assigned to work with you
  • Ability to determine the scope of work
  • Ability to problem solve without direction
  • Have a positive attitude and can motivate coworkers
  • Effectively communicate scope of work with customer
  • Accurately complete job "paperwork"
  • Ability to document scope of work in mitigation applications
  • Ability to work with MICA, Solitaire, and Packout software
  • Daily check-in with Supervisor
  • Hold a high standard of work
  • Perform multiple tasks relating to restoration and mitigation industry including, but not limited to the following:
  • Demolition
  • Board ups
  • Cleaning
  • Dry-Outs
  • Pack-Outs
  • Setting equipment
  • Work with a team or independently

Qualifications

  • 2 years Mitigation experience
  • IICRC certifications in Water & Fire - preferred but not necessary
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, accept over-time, and be on an on-call rotation
  • Highly motivated with a team approach
  • Dependable, reliable and responsible
  • Applicant must be able to lift 70 pounds throughout scheduled shifts

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record and ability to pass an MVR screening.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
  • Must pass a background check.
