Role Summary

The
Security Administrator
will design, implement, and maintain hardware and software security solutions that protect company assets. You'll serve as the first point of escalation for security incidents, lead vulnerability management efforts, and collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure robust cyber defense and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the
    primary escalation point
    for technical and process-related security issues.
  • Design, configure, and maintain
    enterprise security architecture
    (hardware and software).
  • Create, review, and manage
    firewall rule sets, policies, and configurations
    .
  • Monitor the
    availability and performance
    of all security infrastructure components.
  • Analyze trends and incidents to
    proactively identify and minimize risks
    .
  • Investigate and remediate
    security alerts, logs, and vulnerabilities
    .
  • Lead and support
    security awareness training programs
    (e.g., KnowBe4).
  • Assist in
    vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and compliance reporting
    .
  • Plan and coordinate
    security-related changes
    with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and manage
    VPNs, site-to-site tunnels, and secure connectivity
    .
  • Maintain thorough
    documentation
    and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Perform
    root cause analysis
    of incidents and recommend preventive measures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
    .
  • 2–5 years
    of hands-on experience in
    firewall administration
    and
    network security
    .
  • Strong
    analytical and troubleshooting skills
    with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to
    work independently and collaboratively
    in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid documentation, organization, and process improvement abilities.

Preferred Experience & Technologies

  • Firewall Technologies:
    Hands-on experience with
    Check Point
    (certification highly preferred).
  • Networking:
    Experience with
    Cisco network/security administration
    (certification preferred).
  • Cloud Security:
    Familiarity with
    Microsoft Azure security controls
    (NSGs, ASGs).
  • Security Tools:
    Exposure to
    KnowBe4
    or similar security awareness platforms.
  • Other:
    Experience with
    SD-WAN
    and
    VPN configuration
    (remote access & site-to-site).
