We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Golf Retail Store Clerk to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product selection. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for golf. The Golf Retail Store Clerk will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment and ensuring the smooth operation of daily store activities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
  • Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
  • Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized presentation of products
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels through regular stocking procedures
  • Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Assist with phone inquiries, providing information about products and store hours

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery or sporting goods environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demonstrations is advantageous
  • Supervising experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a grocery store or retail setting is beneficial
