Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our child care center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and experience working with students, ensuring a nurturing and educational environment for children. Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.
  • Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, enrollment processes, and record keeping.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources available to families.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in higher education teaching or university settings is a plus.
  • Proven experience in education administration with a focus on child care or early childhood programs.
  • Strong teaching background with hands-on experience working with students of various ages.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
