The Medical Surgical Care Unit RN Manager will report directly to the Director of Nursing and will oversee a team of approximately 60 FTE's, including RNs, techs, and support personnel. This role will collaborate closely with senior leadership, physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the unit operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

The medical-surgical unit consists of 90 licensed beds, serving patients with moderate to high acuity, including trauma, orthopedic, surgical, and antepartum cases. The unit operates at full capacity and is known for its fast-paced, professional, and supportive environment. The Medical Surgical Care Unit RN Manager will work alongside exceptional MDs, skilled RNs, and dedicated techs to deliver outstanding care to a diverse patient population.

The Medical Surgical Care Unit RN Manager will be responsible for directing, supervising, and evaluating patient care performance while fostering a culture of staff development and accountability. Clinical responsibilities include mentoring and coaching RNs, improving clinical competencies, and driving quality improvement initiatives. On the administrative side, this role will oversee budgeting, staffing, operations, and physician relations, ensuring the unit meets financial and productivity goals.
