We are currently hiring a Retail Jewelry Sales Associate for our Belinda Wickwire Jewelry Salon.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Retail Jewelry Sales Associate who can confidently sell fine jewelry while providing an exceptional service to our customers at the same time.

As a Jewelry Sales Associate, you will be representing the face of the store, so your ability to communicate with warmth and clarity, while maintaining an uplifting shopping experience will be key to your success.

It is also essential that you are someone who is a self-starter – i.e. you can stay busy, productive throughout the day while helping to keep the store looking pristine at all times.

Responsibilities:

● Be able to speak with confidence and warmth about fine jewelry, to facilitate successful jewelry sales.

● Be a team player who is happy to collaborate with your co-workers to achieve sales goals and maintain an uplifting work environment.

● Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to boost sales.

● Be very attentive and mindful about maintaining security protocols for the jewelry store.

● Operate our point of sales system/cash register, and handle transactions accurately.

● Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking merchandise as needed.

● Ensure the pristine presentation of the store & merchadise is maintained at all times, and assist with daily cleaning duties.

● Promptly address and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

● A basic knowledge of jewelry is required. If you don't have knowledge of antique jewelry specifically, we ask that you be able to learn about this effectively in your own time.

● Previous experience in retail sales is required – and candidates with experience in fine and antique jewelry sales will be prioritized.

● Important: You must have the physical ability to be active on your feet during the work day, and lift inventory boxes or climb stairs when needed.

● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with polite phone etiquette.

● Basic math skills for POS transactions and retail math calculations.

● Ability to work well with other team members.

● Be a self starter with excellent time management skills, to stay productive during the workday.

● Be proactive and energetic with reaching out to your client list to increase sales.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage stock effectively.

● A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour depending on experience

Expected Days:

● Tuesday through Saturday

Shift Times:

● Our shift hours are approximately 10:30am to 6pm.
