Planet Solar, Inc. is a leading solar installation company proudly serving the Central Valley and Coachella Valley for over 17 years. We are looking for experienced Solar Installers to join our Palm Desert crew If you have a strong background in electrical, roofing, or construction work and want to be part of a growing industry that makes a real difference, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Install residential and commercial solar panel systems on rooftops and ground mounts.
  • Run conduit, wire, and complete electrical connections per system design.
  • Safely load, transport, and install solar panels and racking systems.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete installations on schedule.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure systems meet Planet Solar and code standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in solar installation, electrical, roofing, or construction.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments.
  • Knowledge of running the roof and ground work for solar installations.
  • Strong understanding of basic electrical principles (preferred).
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid California driver's license.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time onsite.
  • Experience in electrical for commissioning solar systems a plus
