Inviting applications for the role of
Quality Engineer.

In this role, you will engage with quality and engineering teams in inspection, evaluation and resolving nonconformities.

You will leverage your analytical and program solving skills with data analysis to ensure quality standards and support disposition decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Review submitted non-conformances and validation with Metrology lab, participate in required conference calls and meetings
  • Technical expertise to interpret aerospace drawings / blueprints, Track and route MRB (Material Review Board) tickets as required
  • Technical justifications for MRB (Material Review Board) decisions, Measure / Interpret inspection results, Data analysis for critical suppliers
  • Work with cross functional teams (production, engineering, quality, supply chain, receiving inspection as examples) to address and resolve non-conformances
  • Complete change management documentation as required, provide weekly performance reports detailing identified KPIs (completed/open MRB tickets)
  • Understanding of dimensional and visual inspection methods on a wide variety of electrical/mechanical components, materials, and supplies against drawings and quality instructions for damage and defects
  • Provide time and expense reports, weekly summary of facts/observations/progress of project

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/business from an accredited university or college
  • Experience in Aerospace
  • Prior experience with Material Review Board (MRB), Metrology, blueprints interpretation, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) measurement techniques
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong oral, written communication skills, excellent customer relationship building skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Strong Business Acumen, Analytical capability
  • Knowledge of nonconformance processes and quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and influence customers and peers
  • Demonstrated capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$75000 to $80000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
