About Us
Revvity is a developer and provider of end-to-end solutions designed to help scientists, researchers, and clinicians solve the world's greatest health challenges. We pair the enthusiasm of an industry disruptor with the experience of a longtime leader. Our team of 11,000+ colleagues from around the globe are vital to our success and the reason we're able to push boundaries in pursuit of better human health.
Find your future at Revvity
Overview
Revvity Signals develops market-leading scientific software that helps customers invent better medicines and materials, faster. Our Signals Notebook is the industry-leading, cloud-native scientific notebook used daily by researchers to record the experiments that drive discovery. Through Signals One, we help pharma and biotech companies process data more efficiently, manage complex candidate portfolios, and identify the most promising drug leads. These same capabilities extend into adjacent domains including manufacturing, chemical research, diagnostics, and clinical development.
Revvity Signals is now building a next-generation AI-driven discovery platform. This system will enable scientists to generate new molecular or material ideas, predict key chemical and biological properties, automatically evaluate candidates against multi-parameter objectives, and optimize which ones should move to synthesis and testing.
We're seeking an entrepreneurial, scientifically minded product leader to drive this initiative. This individual will own the "customer handshake"— listening to users, brainstorming solutions, gathering feedback, and translating ideas into actionable software requirements. The ideal candidate understands both the promise of modern AI technologies and the realities of scientific R&D workflows. If you have a passion for data, software, and accelerating discovery, we'd love to hear from you.
Role Overview
The Product Manager defines the vision, strategy, and feature set for their product line. This role provides clear direction on what to build and in what order to ensure sustained product and business success.
You will work across Revvity Signals — engineering, design, services, support, sales, and marketing — to set priorities, manage releases, and represent the product both internally and externally. The successful candidate will combine scientific fluency, technical literacy, and business acumen to make ideas real. This is a fully remote position based in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities for the AI/ML-based discovery platform.
- Translate scientific and computational concepts—material representation, property prediction, generative design, and optimization—into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with customers, data scientists, computational chemists, and engineers to map workflows and align development with real-world needs. Manage the full product lifecycle: market validation, MVP definition, release planning, and commercial launch.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to establish product positioning, value messaging, and go-to-market materials.
- Work cross-functionally with Services, Support, and Cloud Operations to ensure deployment quality and customer success.
- Track and synthesize emerging trends in AI/ML, computational chemistry, and materials informatics to guide strategic direction.
- You are the product champion within the company—no list of duties can fully capture the reach of this role.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, statistics, or a life science field.
- A minimum of 10 years of software development processes and technologies experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or materials science industries
- 8+ years of practical experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields within pharmaceutical, biotech, or materials science industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of laboratory and research workflows.
- Prior experience as a Product Manager is not required — anyone with proven abilities with the soft skills of product management (communication, vision, technical prowess) is encouraged to apply.
- Deep understanding of statistical, machine learning, and AI models as applied to chemistry and biology data, paired with practical experience applying those techniques to understand and solve problems.
- Familiarity with SaaS infrastructure as used for compute, storage, containers, etc., is a plus.
- Direct experience bridging science, data, and software delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha, sprint reviews, backlog management).
- Proficiency in expressing technical and conceptual ideas visually and structurally (e.g., storyboards, use cases, mind maps).
- Comfort demonstrating or training users in software tools.
- Background in software engineering or data infrastructure is a plus.
- Business or commercial experience in software product strategy or market positioning is advantageous.
