Role Overview

Sodexo has an exciting opening for a Strategic Senior Project Manager who will lead the project management of large-scale, multi-year, global or regional initiatives and manage effective tracking mechanisms. This role will also drive the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives identified by the NorAm Strategy function. This position supports the Strategy function with preparation of presentation with data and insights gathering and other analytical projects as needed.

This is a remote position. Candidates should reside in the Eastern time zone, preferably in the Washington DC metropolitan region.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage assigned initiatives, working effectively with segment and functional stakeholders. Monitor, track and help accelerate progress of the initiatives by proactive understanding of initiatives and successful relationship management
  • Set up and maintain tools and visualizations to facilitate clear and impactful management of initiatives and their progress – e.g., SmartSheet, Power BI dashboards
  • Support ongoing NorAm strategy presentations including annual strategy roadmap, board meetings, and NorAm leadership meetings with PowerPoint creation and data support
  • Support other ad hoc strategy & planning team projects as needed.

What You Bring

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years demonstrated project management experience (PMP certifications highly desired)
  • Strong understanding of project management, continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Previous involvement in IT projects; experience in ERP deployment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Teams) to produce project documentation
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or JIRA appreciated.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering business impact
  • Experience in multiple functional areas a plus
