Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. Interns placed in the Individual Giving team will support fundraising efforts across donor engagement, communications, and stewardship.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Analyze donor survey data and planned giving records to identify engagement trends
  • Prepare and update recognition listings for performance materials
  • Track marketing metrics (email open and response rates) for planned giving outreach
  • Maintain accurate donor records in the Tessitura CRM system
  • Assist with stewardship efforts, including thank-you letters and other communications
  • Support a ticket-buyer data project to identify prospects for year-end campaigns
  • Conduct donor research and build profiles to inform cultivation strategies
  • Help segment donor lists to support targeted mid-level fundraising campaigns
  • Attend internal meetings and complete administrative tasks to gain exposure to the broader fundraising strategy

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Are:

  • A rising college junior or senior, or graduate student with at least two years of coursework completed
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area and available to work in person
  • Able to commit to working in person, 21 hours per week from February to May 2026, including Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and occasional evenings to support donor events.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized — this is key to success in the role
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and verbally
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Personally invested in the arts, leadership, and community engagement
  • Skilled in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus
  • Familiar with mass email platforms and data analysis tools is a plus
