Job Skills / Requirements

KR is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Guards to provide security detail in Baltimore, MD.

Duties/Responsibility

Unarmed Security Guards shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to:

Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectfulArrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for dutyAdhere to customer policy and maintain confidential dataAssist in inspection of interior and exterior of buildingComplete building inspection reportAssist customer at entrance scannerPatrol halls throughout buildingsMonitor for suspicious items or activitiesRespond to calls for assistance, as neededProvide breaks/relief to security staffMonitor parking lot and employee entrance/exit.Complete daily logbook entryEnsure the safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.

Qualifications

Twenty-one (21) years of ageHigh school graduate or equivalent certificateOne (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.Must possess Maryland Unarmed Guard CardComplete a background check with no clear criminal record, and not on any type of probation, no convictions or charges for any form of domestic violenceAbility to speak, read, and write the English language clearly and conciselyRead, understand, and apply printed rules and directionsStand and/or walk for an entire shift, run and climb stairsLift or carry objects up to 50 pounds

High School Diploma or equivalent certificate (Required)

License

Maryland Unarmed Guard Card (Required)
