About the Opportunity:

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing relationships with manufacturing customers and distributor partners to broaden market coverage. This individual must be skilled at recognizing new sales opportunities, managing various accounts, and providing outstanding customer service.

The Territory Sales Manager must be a self-starter with an understanding of manufacturing operations that have controlled or critical environments, including its supply and distribution networks. This position offers competitive pay + incentives, bonuses, medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

This position is at least 75% travel across the northeast. Territory includes MA, ME, CT, RI, NH, and NY.

What You'll Do:

  • Seek out new prospects and opportunities to drive market growth and increase market share.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers and distributor partners, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
  • Execute sales strategies designed to meet or surpass targets, in line with company goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the product portfolio and effectively communicate key features and benefits to customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Travel frequently within the assigned territory to engage with customers and deliver sales presentations.
  • Manage travel logistics efficiently, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Collect and analyze market data within the sales territory to identify trends, assess the competitive landscape, and understand customer needs.
  • Leverage sales and marketing tools to develop content tailored to customer needs and preferences.
  • Deliver exceptional support to both customers and distributor partners, promptly addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Use the CRM system to track and update sales activities, monitor pipeline status, and document customer interaction.

What We're Looking For
:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales to manufacturers with critical environments.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations with cleanrooms.
  • Experience supporting a large or multi-state territory is required.
  • Previous experience partnering with a distributor is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within CRM systems.
