HVAC Warehouse Coordinator

Location: EnviroControl Systems, Dayton Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time. Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, 1 hour lunch break. Shift may vary based on project need.

Primary Job Function:

This role manages the coordination of materials, tools, and inventory to support daily operations and jobsite readiness. Responsibilities include ordering and staging materials, maintaining the warehouse and tool inventory, supporting field crews, and ensuring safe, organized, and cost-effective logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Work with team to develop and implement purchase order systems and equipment/material acquisition systems
• Assist Dept Managers with items necessary to dispatch crews per job.
• Load trailers, strapping materials down properly to ensure safe transport. Pick- up and deliver materials as needed with the ability to safety and accurately pull, back-in, maneuver trailers.
• Return materials to distributor/vendor for proper credit; Return warranty parts and materials for warranty credit
• Perform cycle counts to ensure proper inventory
• Coordinate with Residential Service Manager and General Manager/foreman to fill orders out of stock whenever possible. Put away any deliveries, mark equipment with job name and number, stage in appropriate area. Disassemble and scrap equipment as necessary
• Maintain shop and parts area in clean, orderly fashion; assist in building clean-up as needed including removing clutter and scrap from shop area and removing garbage from warehouse, yard, and on building grounds
• Pull truck stock for Service; Notify service Manager of shortages
• Lockup building and yard, as appropriate
• Maintain warehousing of Company supplied tools, and maintain company tools in safe working order; generate tool tracking lists per jobsite/truck
• Work with direct supervisors to develop and implement company adopted stock lists
• Maintain tool crib and parts department according to company adopted stock lists
• Negotiate with equipment manufacturers and parts houses for best prices and stocking program
• Approve in-stock material orders from service technicians as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Maintain insurable driving record with Company insurance carrier
• Valid driver's license
• Follow directions as given, written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of tools and surroundings. Ability to use various power and hand tools.
• Safe use of ladders.
• Comply fully with company safety rules
• Arrive on time daily, maintaining a 99% attendance record
• Dress in workman-like manner in company branded clothing
• Able to carry 100 pounds unassisted, unloading/stock supplies and equipment, unload/load trucks, trailers, and company vehicles. Abilityto stock/restock supplies and equipment. Ability to operate forklift and drive truck and trailer
• Earn and Maintain EPA Certification
• OSHA 10
