Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a full-time position at our Baptist Beaches location working weekdays with flexible scheduling. No weekend requirements.
We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult acute care rehab services team. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in treating patients in an acute care inpatient setting.
Physical Therapy Assistant, Acute Care Rehab, Job Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, in order to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.
- Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
- Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
- Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
*Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required*
