Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Program Director for our HVAC-R program. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping the educational experience of our students and ensuring the program meets industry standards and academic excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leadership, community contacts, higher education teaching/training in the field of HVAC-R, and education administration, with a passion for fostering student success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the HVAC curriculum to ensure alignment with industry trends and standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty to enhance teaching methodologies and improve student engagement.
  • Manage program budgets, resources, and administrative tasks associated with the HVAC program.
  • Provide guidance and support to students throughout their educational journey, addressing academic concerns and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Foster relationships with industry partners to create internship opportunities and job placements for graduates.
  • Conduct assessments of program effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback from students, faculty, and industry stakeholders.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events that promote professional development for both students and faculty.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Education, Trade, Business, or a related field; Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in higher education teaching and education administration.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and industry professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63, $70,000.00 per year
