Job Summary

Join Pegasys Technologies as an IT Help Desk Technician and become part of an award-winning team dedicated to delivering exceptional IT solutions. In this role, you'll provide hands-on and remote support for client systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with network and security configurations. We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who values customer satisfaction, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow their technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive IT support for client systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Implement secure remote access solutions for clients
  • Monitor and respond to alerts using remote management tools
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in ConnectWise
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with clients
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the engineering team
  • Log work activities and expenses accurately
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical skills
  • Contribute to team projects and maintain a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online, Active Directory, and network configurations
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred
  • Reliable transportation required for on-site work

  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Expertise in hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Windows Server environments
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 applications and related services
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent communication via phone, email, and in-person
  • Frequent travel to client sites
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing during installations
